hi people
my plant has too much leaf to scrog it correctly
when in veg do yous remove allot of leaf when working the plant in top the net
i was considering stripping 80% of it so i can see all the tops and where i need to place them
if i do this in veg it will stop growing for a few days while it recovers ??
can i remove most the leaves in weeks 3 flower or better to do it all in veg
i have already flipped my plant because i want to see how it grows in flower as i haven't grow this strain before
my next run should i strip leafs while training in veg

Screen full, flip to flower, defoliation need under screen. See where the shots come up, and, if needed, take some leaves away. I'd flip to flower, keep tucking for 1-2 weeks, defoliation bottom leaves...

Every bit of info and answers you will need to begin your scrogging adventure.

To answer the couple questions I think I know, lol

Most that use the pruning/defoliation techniques are doing it just before flip and then again at the end of stretch(usually 3rd week of flower) some growers are pruning all the way till harvest. This is a very polarizing topic on these forums, the guys who do it love it, the growers who don't, call them crazy lol

Your aiming to fill your screen 60-70% with sativa dominant strains and 80% with indicas while in veg. When you flip to flower , The stretch will fill the rest. Keep tucking until stretch is over and your screen is full.

Hope this helps
