SCROG questions

What is the optimum square footage/plant in a SCROG setup? I'm moving soon, and I am trying to plan a garden for my closet, I want to grow 4-8 plants for me and another MMJ patient. And what size HPS should I use? I was thinking 2x 250W, but I possibly could upgrade to either 3x 250W or 2x 400W.

I'm just worried about heat. It's more than likely gonna be a 5x2x5 cabinet, maybe more if necessary, but not much. Since it's in a closet, ventilation and heat might be a major concern, and I don't have thousands to throw at this project.

I was wondering if this small of a cabinet could support 8 fully flowered females in a SCROG? I know it could be done, more than likely, but could it be done by an average grower?
