Plants started to stretch alittle, thats about it except for this I put together cuz I am so bored....

Back many years ago a friend of mine had a 350 Honda, fire engine red in color. He had let me drive it, after that I was hooked. A few years later my brother-in-law had and let me drive his 750 Yamaha, once again I got hooked. Unfortunately I could never afford even a used motorcycle, not while raising a small family. In 2001 my small Building Service Contractor business was at it’s peak. Coming home from work one day, stopped at an intersection I watched about 70-90 motorcycles drive thru...I got goose-bumps and made a promise to myself that this will be the year. After researching, going to every motorcycle shop in the city, looking at Kawasakis , Yamaha’s, Honda’s, Suzuki’s, Victories, Big Boys and Harley Davidson, I liked the Harley the best. I was set on a 1200 Sportster, but I really like the way the Harley soft-tales looked, suspension under the bike. 88 cubic inches/1450 cc V twin engine, 5 gear transmission 1 down-4 up shift, a true road cruiser...
Out of the 7 or 8 soft tale models to choose from, I picked/purchased a 2001 Harley Davidson Fatboy, Pearl Black w/burgundy pinstripe paint. Stock weight at 789 lbs, fat tires, solid rims, I added Vance & Hines dual chrome staggered shotgun 2 ½ inch exhaust pipes, over the years lots of chrome. The fatboy probably weighs over 850 lbs today w/all the customizing.
When I was breaking her in, I kept to low traffic areas, no high-ways, not until I had reached 500 miles as recommended by HD manual. Your not just breaking in the bike, but yourself as well, on how to drive and handle one. Any motorcycle owner knows that you must learn how your bike handles in most condition. Not to mention a constant alertness at all times....leave the show-off shit at home....as I always say....but nearly lost it coming off an off ramp to a highway once, the bikes weight at 70 mph takes you where it wants to go if you are not in control, I actual drifted into the next lane w/o any control for a split second and that’s all it takes to get killed...hope I learned my lesson that day...
But that first time coming out onto the highway, there is nothing like it, truly. Now I can relate a little to what a fighter pilot kinda feels like taking off on an aircraft carrier in his jet.....
Now today as a grower and biker I find myself just wanting to grow, smoke and ride....that’s my story and I’m sticking to it......the grow, the bike, the ride.....later bros..........

Sounds like a hella good time to me. Unfortunately I don't ride and know nothing about bikes. I got a cpl of buddies with HD and you sound a lot like them. It's great to have a passion for something and live your dream. Thanks for the breakdown bro.

I use 3 inch net pods or grow-baskets as I call them, w/clay pepples and of course rockwool. Had one hell of a time finding a 2-3/4" wood hole cutter to make my holes for the pods.
My new grow-boxes are only 7 inches deep, longer tho, so I can easily place/hold 6 feminized plants/grow-box. This grow I plan to trim down each plant so that all I have/need to take of is the plants primary colas, at the same time keeping a couple good branches real healthy so I can re-generate each plant. With alittle luck I'll be placing the regenerated gals in flowering within 4-5 weeks again after harvest. After my 2nd grow's harvested, need to do the dry/trim process, then it will be a stoner week of sampling 4-6 new strains around 10 days after the cut. At that point I'll know what strain or strains I want to keep growing so when I do grow #2's re-harvest, I will continue re-generating the main stay strains and a final cut on those I don't need, fill them in w/ another set of new strains. That's the plan at the moment.

Also I have not yet germinated, it's this Sunday 4shur. Ministry of Cannabis claimed that they sent me some seeds back around the 2nd of Sept. No signs of them so far, not holding my breathe. I told myself to wait another week, so I am/did and that day is up this Saturday. Right now I'm holding 11 different strains, I have regular Bubble Delicious, feminized White Widow, Blue Widow, Royal Haze, Red Dragon, Critical Kali Mist, Mazar x White Rhino, Columbian Gold, Carnival, Big Bud and Kandahar.
Eventually I'll clone via mother plants. But due to my health, sometimes I have take it easy, takes longer for me to get started some days. But you know what? When I had my 1st grow up and running, I never felt better physically, mentally, emotionally and dealt w/ little to no depression. It was all due to the grow, w/o a doubt. When your homebound 70% of the day, always in pain, my 1st grow lifted my spirits each day. Every morning and afternoon I'd perform my aero-hydro maintenance, checking the gals, ph, lighting, ect..ect... Since after my 1st harvest, all I have done is brood, mope, moan & bitch in and around the house. My wife asked me 3 times/day " When are you germinating again? " She is fed up w/me. Need to grow

My re-veg grow is in it's 10th day of 12/12, should start to see little tiny hairs very soon, but as of today, not yet



They are in alittle start-up stretch...stopped counting after 28 tops and that was only 2 out of 4 plants, except the other day I count 6-8 off the B. Widow....I'm stoked to find out how ambering it out more will do....cuz when I had cut at 70% cloudy, 20-30% amber was perfect for an excllent uplifting buzz, actual alittle to uplifting imo....



no hairs yet....

Past couple days has been in the upper 70's, just excellent for riding in the midwest, plan to get out later......need a new battery....another $100...

Your plant's seem to be coming along nicely. Yeah I'm not to sure what to think about that thread yet. If his story is true it could get interesting. I'm gonna follow it for a little bit and see where it goes. Dude I'm ripped, the kinda ripped like where you just stare at the screen for 10 min like a zombie.

Yeah I hear ya about that thread, that CG plant, it can be a con, never thought about it....I have some 6 year old bubbledelicious I tried to pop 6 months ago, got nothing and I always refrig my seeds.....so I'll follow the thread for awhile

Been blazing all day... since 6:00 am, not bitching, just a long ass day....bike battery did cost exactly $100 w/taking in my fried one.....pissed me off but finally got it in today and washed and detailed her.........hey btw, day 1 of flowering......got hairs today, exactly 11 days into 12/12 schedule, thats 3x in a row what do u think??? Do u see any hairs???

Thanks Dropastone....glad to be back into flowering again....I measured how tall the CG was this am, about 28", the BW is only 15", but bushy as hell, she will stretch out last most likely like she did on the 1st run....her nuggets are rock hard, you need to try some BW, it truly kicks-ass

Looking forward to amber this grow out....and see what comes of it...
Day 2 of flowering, burning 1190watts of CFLs, 71,000 lumens, ppms 680, PH at 5.5. Switched to 10/14 light schedule today...ahh fuck-it everything is going great w/the grow....

Day 18 of flowering....Thanks to my wife, the search for gold continues....she was able to maintain the grow while I am recovering from open heart surgery, had 4 by-passes

PH at 5.4, ppms at 660, burning +12,000 watts of CFLs....+80,000 lumen and my gals are doing great...

Also my gals have great cola nodes or structure....I'm back

I'm loving those trichs on those at 18 days. I'm 6 weeks in and yours look more developed than mine lol.

Thanks Dropastone, 12 days after surgery, having a good day today.... It's just doing what the doc's told/tell me to do, take my meds, walk each day, eat right, no tobacco, but kinda funny that they did not mentioned medical marijuana, cuz the wife told them twice I use it for my lymes disease....uhmm?? Yeah w/o her help this grow would have died off just by throwing a switch....



Anyways my re-grow is going near-perfect...Gotta do a dump and rinse of the rez-box nutes, I may have some root-bound going on...the past 2 grows I was doing it every 7 days, the gals would thrive after their roots rinsed out for 24 hours and got their boost of food/nutes/calmag+. This grow tho, I’m rinsing the roots for 48 hours instead 24 because the roots are so huge..



Either I am noticing it more or I am seeing the beginnings of great cola structure or it’s called node locations on both the Colombian Gold and Blue Widow...the BW always shows off her greater trichomes output than the CG. Right now my light schedule is 10-on/14-off, but will be switching to a 08-on/16-off when I hit day 33 of flowering, right now it’s day 19....

Thanks Pipe Dream, going to switch to even a longer dark period in a few weeks to increase trichomes....also going all amber on this harvest...

FaderHarley, Nice looking grow. Ive been sneeking in a few peeks here a few times over the last 3 or 4 weeks. infact, i have a thread previously mentioned here on my seedling. the 30yr old seed, and Sprout thread, mentioned.

i grounded the seed on mar 17, and it sprouted on the 18th. its 21 days from sprout today. Though it can be in bad taste, i hope you dont take any offense, but i would appreciate your guys honest opionions. Seems a few of you have true knowledge of the old school colos. so with that in mind, what is your opinion? does it appear to be what i believe it is, which is a CG strain? Seems my leaves have some of the same characteristics as yours did at day 18ish on pg 2.

appears to be very hearty, im just looking for way to varify it is what i claim, and someone growing a known CG has my attention.
?, did you use Seed or a Clone? Is it a pure CG strain? or a back cross or similar?

ill certainly take the time to ready thru your thread as time allows. should provide a good guide for me.

Thanks for stopping by, thought my response would be go better here than posting it on your thread for the moment....
I 1st smoked CG in the mid-late 70's, I had just been discharged from the Army and just returned from a tour in Germany, which I had smoked alot of hash laced w/opium over there, it was awesome in fact....The local bud at $20/oz was ok when I returned, but when I smoked the Gold, it was like the hash over in Europe, it simply kicked my ass....It had a distinct taste and smell to it, kinda fruity, earthy, no seeds, it was all bud...I could only afford a 1/2 oz of it at the time, but never forgot the taste, smell and of course the buzz..

The Landrace Colombian Gold I purchased from World of Seeds, "WoS", that is in my current re-grow and past 2nd grow, I'm not so sure it's what I smoked in the 70's. With that said however, the CG I am currently growing and smoking is very, very good. WoS claims it's from South America in their discription and specification and it grew, taste, has the exact buzz as they discribed..Google WoS for review..That is why I am re-growing it a 2nd round, but this time I am going to amber it out, then perhaps the true colors will show on her, I hope....But your photos on your thread of your gold do appear to look identical to my grow and CG....hoped that helped

CGold 2-3 weeks from seed

Today is day 20 of flowering, pruned the ones I can reach w/o ripping out stitches from my 13-15 inch cut down the middle of my chest......Smoked some of my 1st grow, indica dominet strain yesterday, it really helped me thru the day, in the latter PM blazed a CG for a few hits, slept like a baby, but woke up with alot of discomfort this AM, so after a fist full of pain killers this AM, reached for the Gold again, felt better after 4-5 shallow hits.....don't want to cough to much, really hurts when I do.....the Gold is even smoother than cigs imo....

Anyways back to the grow...Sunday going to do my Dump/Rinse, let the roots rinse for +48 hours, perhaps even longer....either I have some minor nute lock-out/minor root bound, the gals are not using up much nutes, ppms are not dropping as much as the past grow at this stage....Ph is maintained at 5.4, foliage color looks great so I know my PH is not drifting all over the place. Maybe due to a larger root base now, maybe they store more nutes than the 1st run w/these 2 strains, hense the need for a longer rinse time....it's been about 8 days since my wife boosted them from 240 ppms to 1160 ppms

Having my larger 105watters and 85watters for now just above the main cola tops/plants, moving the 65, 55, 42 and mixed spectrum 26watters each day...when I feel up to it that is, I'll get back to moving the larger CFLs as well....they burn much cooler than the smaller watt CFLs. Room temp holding at 80 degrees and my gals are really enjoying all the fresh "outside air" I can give them....

Can't say enough about the Blue Widow's trichome output at this early stage of flowering, it looks like 2x more than the Gold.....

Cola topping count at 35 from 4 plants and still counting, cutting underbud, almost all fan leaves away during this grow, trying another attempt for a lollipop approach to the main colas this run....later bros

Day 21 of flowering, dump/flush completed, roots rinsing for 48+ hours, then nute boost, PH at 5.4, ppms at 4....light schedule 10/14 for 23 remaining days, switch to 08/16 at day 45 until harvest to increase trichome production

Been rinsing the roots for 60 hours and counting....plan to add some Botanicare Pure Blend Bloom when I give the rez a boost. I'm using it as a supplement w/GH Flora Bloom and Flora Micro and alittle Calmag+. See what comes of it, do not want to screw things up now so I'll add a light dose of it for starters...suppose to help w/fattening up the bud, doses in the 3-4 tsp/gallon range so I'll go 1/3 of that....
