Seaweed and Iron (Fe)

Through work I have allot of liquid seaweed and iron (both granual and chelated) kicking about.

I use seaweed after/before feeding a lawn or plant to help the nutrient uptake but never see much mention of it in growing communities is there any reason.

Also iron, I use it a lot but it’s always sprayed on to a plant, (strengthens the plant cell and increases photosynthesis) and always gives a good deep colour of the plant it’s self as a byproduct, I can get away with using it most year round (unless the plant is in drought) but never really see much about people just adding it to the feeding schedules.

I’m using a cal/mag booster that has iron in but if I was just to add iron how much would anyone recommend as the recommendation on the bottles are for it to be sprayed on not fed through the roots.

Thanks

my understanding is that fe is a micronutrient and as such there is only very minor quantities required, that are available in soil, thats why we dont add it like a fertilizer,
other idea that i have, may be wrong, is that nutrient requirements are genetic specific, so may be one genetics eats more fe, and another less
