Second grow set up (upgrade)

Hey,
Iam back on for my second grow.

My first grow was 2x super ice grape fruit 2x trainwreck and 2x big bang 2. All done in soil and perlite under 600 watts.

It was a success and I had some really really nice buds and a decent yeild of about 12 ounces.

This time round I've upgraded... alot. Iam now using a 2 meter by 2 meter tent. I've got 4 hydro 4 soil. I've upgraded to 1000watt hps, co2 bag. And purchased some new nutrients which are

Advanced nutrients jungle juice 3 part. Voodoo juice. Cal mag. Superthrive. Kelp seaweed. Big bud.

I will be topping lolly popping and super cropping the plants this time and will be using the scrog method. With 8 plants which are, super ice grapefruit (best weed I've ever smoked) train wreck, great white shark, widow, the church.

This is my first time using hydro and it did take me a few forms and a 1000 youtube videos to understand it, I've got my oh and ppm under control and the plants are begging to take off.

I will upload some buds from my last grow and my new setup. If anyone can give me some advice or methods which they think work well then please comment, I would have well and truly messed my last grow up if it wasent for the tips and tricks of you guys. Thank you.

Need more light for best results, especially if you are going to use CO2. Average setups are between 5000 and 6000 lumens per sqft (53,750-64,500 lumens per square meter), better setups are in the 6000-8000 lumens per sqft range and use multiple types/colors of lights. (warm/cool/uvb)

Looks like you bought all the sucker products for this time around, sorry to say. Hydro shop guy and nute companies will like you though. Please don't think at the end of this run that it's so much better because of the crap you added to the nutes, your care is what will make any difference, assuming you didn't use a junk (most nutes are fine and very similar) product on round 1.

Tbh I think nutes have alot to do with it, iam not experienced enough in terms of what works best, I go on the forms read the reviews and buy the best regardless of cost. I understand advances nutrients are like the brand name but tbh it's what I've seen works best.
I agree I probebly do need another light or 2, there just about to begin veg so a guess another 600 wouldn't go a miss. Trust me I have some change left from the last grow. Thanks :)

Nutes do have a lot to do with it, brand of nutes has very little to do with it though. Brand has more to do with how much money leaves your wallet than anything.

If you are running CO2 you really want to get into the >7500 lumen per sqft range, up to 12,000lm/sqft or even higher. I run 7000-7500 without CO2.
