Someone told me today that seeds over six months old are a lot less likely to germinate. Is this true?

you can get a good ten years out of seeds if stored well. i use glass vials placed in another sealed container with silica beads to absorb excess moisture kept in the refrigerator.no, they're good for years if you keep them refrigerated and dry.
