Seed breeding dilemma - help me out!

I have 9 haze plants, 7 of which are girls, one male and one hermi.

I want to make some seed out of that grow, so my dilemma is which one to leave to pollinate the girls, the male or the hermi?

The male plant is definitely bigger and more rapid grower, but I am not sure if thats due to genetis or just random.

The male will give me regular seeds with about 50/50 chance for male/female

The hermie plant is a little smaller, but still has good structure, so besides the fact it is one inch shorter than the male and a little thinner - it looks to have good genetics as well. The smaller size might be due to the fact it was initially planted in a smaller pot and later transplanted.

The hermie is not a nasty hermie, it has very few pollen sacks so far, and I think if I leave it instead of the male, I will logically get FEMINIZED seeds.

So, what do you think, what should I do?

I think i would go for a variety to be honest....if you want to start breedin seeds that is. If you are going to go with one, why not use both? then you get herm/fem'd seeds, and normal seeds...best of both worlds.

I am not after large scale seed breeding, I just want like 40-50 seeds to run a few more grows from that strain. I'd leave both plants intact if it wasn't the limit I have with my grow area, I grow in a tent and it's pretty dense right now, a real jungle, so the one and only reason for me want to get rid of one of the 2 non female plants is so that the girls can use the spare space and light.

I was thinking maybe of trimming all the side branches and leafs of the male and hermie, so they take less space, they will still produce more than enough polen sacks in the main/top cola. Is that a good idea?

You are risking germinating your whole crop with a herm in there, or at least a lot of it (happened to me, I got loads of seeds, but on all my plants)
Take it out, if you want pollem from it, burst one of the sacks when you get it out and use that to germinate a branch..you could put it back in, but would need to really keep an eye on it developing more sacks and them opening...
I would still germinate with the male plant...

I have heard there can be some genetic issues with feminized seeds so I wouldn't use them. However, if you want to be sure to get females or want to sell the seeds you will have feminzied seeds.

But why not just work with clones?

man kill that hermi and use your best male. dont fuck with any hermi IF u only want a few seeds..your gong to get females that may turn hermi... just grow out more seeds so u can get the number of females u want. you should be able to make lots of seeds (100 -1000)..
