Seed Germination for Aero system? Neoprene?

Any original ideas or tried and tested methods for germinating seeds. Ive always just used dirt, then took them out and rinsed off the roots, but I usually have a lot of loss either when removing, rinsing or trying to get the roots into the medium.

At one point I used a wick running down into the reservoir and out the seed in the wicl, this worked great..when it worked but again had some loss. Ive had Hash Plant seeds forever now, and have always just used seeds ive gotten from good weed.

This time I am buying good quality seeds and dont want the loss. Any ideas?

I am putting them into an DIY areoponic system, a Rubbermaid tote, a pump with tubing with holes running around the pots.

The Neoprene Im guessing you use once the stem in a couple inches? And I imagine the stem must be able to expand the Neoprene disk as it thickens?

The best way I have used to germ seeds for dwc,

is drop them to your bubble cloner

allow them to bubble away until germed

the deal tho is to encourage vertical stem growth so they 'sit' early than normal

you can do that simply by dropping the seed and 2 teaspoon of ro water to a small plastic bag

as the seed germs the radicle/ tap root uncoils that

at 1.5 -2 inches is thick enough to be mounted for dwc

Dont have a bubble clone, never used one Ive always just cut the clone and put it in my veg area. Although it is a bit tedious having to do a wick system. How do you find the Bubble Cloner works? Is it worth it? If I wanted to make one, couldn't you just put a humidifier in a bucket??
