seed help

Is it ok if I am germinating seeds in a shot glass and if one of the seeds haappens to sink down . Is that ok? Or is it a bad seed and is ok for a seed to stay under water? Please help.

how long have they been soaking? when a seed sinks it means its ready to go in the grow medium.

Thay have been soaking for a day or two. So once it sinks I can put in a rockwhol? Any good addvice on doing that?
