Seed or clone

Hey guys,

Does anyone recommend seed over clone? I heard clones can cause lots of problems...

First time outside grower

1st time grower i would recommend seed. Clones are just a huge hassel without any experience with them. They are also very tender and could be destroyed easy if not properly taken care of. Also take some clones off your seed plant.

I'm only on my second grow, did clones last year. What I've noticed this year with starting from seed is that seeds grow a lot stronger than clones. Much more vigor.

Clones you get what you see genetically from the mother. Seeds the phenos differ. Fem seeds save wasting time on males. The time its takes a clone to really go is usually aready done when you buy em. Just personal choice.

seeds are certainly easier for the first time grower... no one wants to deal with early flowering issues or hermies on their first grow. get some good seeds and make sure to pull the males at soonest determined sexing. the tap roots with seedling give them a much greater advtage as well. clones roots grow out mostly from the side. but watch FEM seeds if u get them, they tend to not germ or hermie on you. other then that good luck! _Tycoon

Get experience with seed first then move to clones. If you must use clones transfer them on a rainy day. Did my first batch off clones outdoor now got a month to go and there fine. Seeds will always outperform clones outdoor due to their vigor. I like using clones cause I can skip the "seedling" stage however they tend to flower right when they go outdoors. I'm using both seed and clone. Dig holes as deep as you can and fill with good soil for better yields add some water crystals so they stay moist when it doesn't rain. Overall seeds will give you better yields and show vigor.
