My 2 plants have been like this for the past 2 weeks now. The roots havent grown at all and the shell jsut been sitting there. Should i try to peel the shell off and put in soil or should let them sit that way for a bit longer.

I'd leave them alone and get some good fluros on'em.

I'd also put them in a cup with some soil around that Rapid Rooter. That'll give the roots somewhere to spread, rather than restricting them to that grow plug.

Additionally, place a dome on top of them. They need more moisture then their being supplied.

Thanks guys, yea for some reason these 2 buggers are being a pain in my ass right now. I will try all the idea's.

I would spray the shell with water and remove it with a dentist pick or tweezers.

Are the rooters sitting in a pool of water at the bottom of your tray? If there is, the rooter is wicking up the water via capillary action, keeping the rooter saturated. What than happens is there is little oxygen for the roots. The rooter should be moist, not dripping with water.

Yes you can peel the shell off be gentle though and try to avoid touching the leaves
