Seed Stunted?

i originally had a seed and had soil(didn't look healthy) from id say 6 months ago from my last grow that I put in a solo cup. I tried germinating but nothing so I just said fuck it and planted it in the soil and watered. It actually germinated a couple days after . I then put in under a couple cfls for a day or so and it just moved very slowly Just grew a little bit and then I got some new soil and a bigger pot . It's about 3 gallons maybe more I'd say. So I took the seed with the white tap root and moved it to the pot with brand new soil. It's been in there for almost a day and I can't really tell if it's gotten any bigger. The seed is still stuck to the root but it is just about coming out of the soil, but it was when it was in the solo cup too. Does it stunt growth for a day or 2 when you transplant a germinated seed and move it? I know your probably not supposed to do that but it would of died if I left it in the crud soil from the solo cup. I hope it works, my only seed left . Would love to here advice
