Seedling Down!!! Help!!!

i kno the title makes it sound dramatic but its kinda worrying me. my seedling sprouted a week or so ago and its doing great! the problem is that the leaves are getting so big on top that its making her stem bend over almost parrallel with the soil. am i just freaking out for nothing? or should i already have to stake her up with like a popsicle stick or something? thanks for the help

Hey, don't stress......just do what you mentioned above, put you a small popsicle stick and use a bread twistie tie and your good to go.

need pics, is it just bending over because the stem seems long and thin? if thats the case..just move the light closer..no need to prop it up with anything it will right iteself back up..If its not because of the light its because it needs water bad, but im going to guess without pics, it just needs the light closer right now its stretching and making the stem to thin to hold the leaves

So is the light too far away or is it buckling under the heat or dose it simply just need support. i like the idea of you giving us some pictures, maybe even it might be overwatered, possibly too big headed and its peing pulled down by gravity or just reaching for a stronger light source like if you run lights down the side of your grow.

Split a straw down the middle, open it up and wrap it around the stem. Push a little dirt up around it to steady it.

thanks so much for the help. i should have specified. its outdoor. its definately not underwatered and its not changing color like its overwatered so i guess its just too big headed. ill prop it up. thanks guys you have no idea how much this site helps a pot hypocondriac like me. lol

In future you could start the plant indoors and transplant outdoors when bigger, that way it would have optimun conditions. Just an idea. And yep rollitup rocks, brings together a load of stoners and we all help each other to grow pot. As for being a hypocondriac you need professional help, we cannot deal with those issues!lol! Peace
