Seedling growth stunted. Plz help

This was my first time trying DWC and slowly but surely I am learning. The current problem I am having is that my seedlings are severely stunted and its been 2 weeks and they haven't gotten their second set of leaves yet. I have my seedlings in 1.5" soaked and phed rockwool cubes. Which were put into 10" netpots with hydroton. I was told to leave the drip ring system on 24/7 and I fear this is where I went wrong and caused my root growth to be stunted. I think my RW was simply too wet. Also I think my cubes were too small for that large of a pot I think I may have needed 4x4 cubes so I will order some and maybe some new seeds and start over. That's if these don't show signs of progression. I just replaced the Rez water and took out some of the hydroton so that I could place the RW closer to the bottom since the small cubes are too small. I also ripped one cube open and transplanted that seedling to a new cube. So we will see. I'm also stopping the drip system and am sticking with air stones bubbling under the netpots. 2 per bucket. I was using the cheap yellow ph meter at first and fear my stunting growth may have been caused by bad ph levels also. So I'm not really sure . Plz help anyone

ya those drip rings will smoke a lil baby. get your self those rings that protect lil girls. you can cut the top AND bottom off of a 2 liter and that will do the trick too!

Damn I wish I wouldn't have listened when they said water with drip ring 24/7 I knew it didn't sound right. I'm having a hell of a hard time with rockwool. Idk if it was ph or what but I soaked the RW in phed 5.5 water for over 24 hours. They seemed to be growing at first and then just stopped. I never saw the roots grow outside the RW. What I did was germinate the seeds on a paper towel until the taproot was long enough then I transplanted them into the RW. Which is supposed to work fine. Now I don't have a humidity dome or nothing. And the humidity dome I do have has holes that are too small go the 1.5" RW. Can I rip the RW in half and use it in the small holes??

and someone PLEASE give me good instructions on watering RW. I really need it. Like how many times a day to water? And is it better to use a spray bottle to mist the RW. And I heard only water the bottom half. Stuff like that. Thanks.

When I started my seedlings I ph'd the rock wool, shook out the excess water translated the sprout Shell up and let it be until the rock wool dried up. I then watered lightly from the top. I never soaked it
