Tips for germing ....
1. Fill solo
COMPLETELY with medium . Nothing else. No super soil / Nutes / bottled shit .... nothing.
( FFOF can be a bit rough “ in the beginning “ on new seeds since it is highly ammended)
but plants will
acclimited to it in time .
2. Bury seed about an 1/8” in medium .... very little water and leave alone. If you sprout them out in paper towel or another method.
Just bury the seedling as above. The medium will feed it after cotyledon leaves ( these provide nutrition initially to new seedling. )
3. “ overwatering “ .... one of the most common goof . You
DO NOT need to saturate “ entire “ cup . You can even mist spray lightly ,
to keep the baby hydrated. Tap water will be fine during this stage .... no RO / unicorn water or other so called special water.
4. LIGHT ....
Use a simple cfl or T5 lamp within a few inches to keep stretch tempered. If you do get stretched growth , just transplant ( up pot ) and bury the stem in medium .... ( it will allow more rooting from it ) .
5. Leaf ..... disregard .... it’s a new seedling ..... not an issue at this time ... it has many weeks to grow out and will change.

Seedling stretch is controlled.
These are in FFOF soil ... tap water .... nothing else.
