These seedling started two weeks ago and some problems are appearing. First the bottom leaves are becomming yellow, then some dark spots are appearing on these leaves, then the begin to dry up and die. Does anyone know what the problem might be? here are some info on my setup:
2 X 40w compact fluorescent COOL WHITE for 3 plants (4-5 inches away from the top of the plants
Temp: 30-32 degrees celcius
Watering: once a day as needed i check the moisture of the soil with my fingers.
Soil: Cheap soil i bought in a gardening store.
Fans: 2 computer fans: 1 blowing in the other blowing out.
My first guess would be the temperature. I dont really know what the optimal temp for these plants... Other than that i cannot tell as i dont think the lighting or the moisture is any problem. Here are some pics:
