Brief run down. Growing in straight perilite, GH mutes, Tao water 60-70ppm out the faucet and I’m feeding them 200-220ppm after adding nutes. 5.8-6.0 ph(if this cheap ph meter is correct) and some calmag(very little). Am I burning. them? I didn’t think it looked like nute burn but I could be wrong. Please only EXPERIENCED answers.

The 2 bigger ones are Wonder Woman and the smaller one is Somango xxl

Whenever I see that burn on the serrations, I assume a Cal-Mag deficiency and stick some in the next feed.
I also add a bit more PK just for 1 feed.
It doesn't fix the damaged leaves, but the next set grow in undamaged.

Sorry, just read you only wanted experienced answers.
Still appreciate the response. I just wanted to avoid the “guesses”. I was actually thinking I wasnt adding enough calmag myself as I only added 1ml per gallon right now. I’ll wait to see what others think. Thanks again.

Below is our Veg Feeding Regimen. We go from clone straight into Promix in a one gallon pot. We wait about 4 weeks then transplant into our outdoor beds for light dep. Give it a run if you want. I would suggest removing the dead looking leaves on the bottom and trim off the infected areas of the leaf so you can see if the problem consists.

Cheers!!!

VEG MIX

10ml/gal Fish Protein Powder or Liquid
1/4ml/gal Kelp
5ml/gal Humic Acid (powder or liquid)
1tsp/gal Inoculant (Mykos/Azos)

We work a lot outside and have separate cloning/veg areas that are not in the house we live. Fish can always be substituted with a soy protein if you do not want to have your place stink like rotten fish.

220 ppm doesn't sound hot; if that's a good number.
I would say in general, the cannabis plant likes its Ca and Mg, regardless of medium choice, so it would be good practice to feed it regularly.
To me, the chattered leaf edges suggest a Potassium issue, but with such a small plant, it then begs the question of pH.
If you consider your meter 'cheap' and you're questioning what it's telling you...I'd go back and be sure my pH was on.
You may also consider feeding it more.

Good luck friend.

I’m leaning more towards a calmag issue because I went VERY VERY light on the calmag. I have 2 PH meters and they both led me to believe I’m between 5.8-6.0(I let them settle and try multiple times until I get a solid reading but I do plan on dropping $150 on a worthwhile ph instrument.

I appreciate it, but I’m indoors and don’t plan on switching my nutes.

Dip the pen in milk PH 6.6 ......... my pen says 7.2, so when I'm mixing nutes, I just take 0.6 from the reading on the pen.
Works for me. My pen was $4.

Follow the advanced feed chart from GH and add 4ml/gal of Calmag. And feed @ 5.8ph

Hempy bucket here. Perlite/ Vermiculite. Used GH nutes last grow.

Will do! I think I screwed up not giving it the correct amount of calmag, I was just worried about over feeding it and didn’t know if I could over do it with calmag

Cant really over do it with the calmag. When I used GH nutes I fed @ full strength and averaged 4oz per auto flower. My tap water is 330ppm and 7.1ph btw.
Its good stuff. I just got tired of mixing all the time so I switched to Megacrop.
Here's a pic from the GH auto flower grow. (In soil)

This helped me a ton, thank you again. My pen was 6.3 in the milk.
Don’t listen to that advice. A pH meter that is out of calibration is useless and you can’t just offset the reading by the amount it is off from a known solution. Anyone who uses a pH meter needs to calibrate it regularly and should have some sort of a regent test on hand as a backup. If you want to understand more about how pH meters work then check out the following link.

I appreciate that. I’ll look into it. But with that said, if milk is 6.6PH and mine is 6.3ph, that would mean it’s within .3ph of reading... so I’m unsure how that isn’t a good way to do it? I agree it’s better to calibrate it but this way should work I believe.
