I don't think its overwatering and my lights aren't super close, it hasn't recieved any nutrients yet, Its a mixpack seed from seedism, I started it in a root-riot cube and shultz seed starter soil. I have a pair of 4 foot t8 6400k bulbs and a han's led around 2 feet or so above my 2 seedlings. any help would be appreicated maybe I'm just nervious cause there seedlings not clone's like I'm used to. I only use ro water around 6.2 and a spray mister for watering them. What I see and I'm not sure the Pictures do it justice is the leaves look rather dark around the edges and they look kinda raised maybe even a little dry??? I had them in humidity dome's and only 1 of the 2 is showing symptoms.

are the ones effected from the dome? thats why if so. get a fan on them so you get a slight movement. makes the stem stronger. How long have the seedligs been in the soil?

Blessings,

JP

Well I had just replaced the dome on the older seedling last night and when the lights came on today I noticed a little discoloration in its leaves. The oldest seed is about 7-9 days out the soil and the smaller of the 2 popped out soil 2 days ago. How should I leave humidity dome's on after they pop out the soil? Also no nutrients given to them yet, other than what shultz seed starter soil has in it and/or the root riot cube I used. they've only gotten R.O. water so far, and only like 3 time of watering in 7-9 day since sprout

Probably the soil.
Is it the blue bag with the yellow highlight that states "Feeds Up To 3 Months!"? If so, that soil is probably to "hot".

Shultz Seed starter plus with extended feed plant food feeds up to 3 month's(.07-.05-.04)NPK ??? Could this be my problem? I know people say don't use extended feed soil, but I'm only using this soil for the first 3-4 weeks then it gets transplanted.

Plus I figured it wouldn't be too bad since I'm using root riot cubes to germinate my seeds.

I had problems with the Miracle Grow seedling mix (looked similar to yours). When I do soil now I just get generic no additive soil from dollar general and throw some perlite in.
I would bet it's the soil you started in.

So should I risk transplant shock to move them into the root's greenlight/foxfarm ocean forest mix? Or should I wait it out and see if it get worse? I wasn't planning on x-planting for another week or 2. could they make it another 2 weeks?

I rode it out with the miracle grow problem and they survived . Looks like you could make it to me but I would keep an eye on it and don't feed it anything for the time being.

Thanks for the advice Kontraband!!!

Anyone else have thought's on this topic??? I would really love more opinion's.

I started Pineapple Gums in MG Moisture Control with 6 month feed and they didn't seem to have trouble

Were the pineapple gum's from seed? How long did you keep them in the mg moisture control for?

Has anybody reading this used Shultz seed starter?
