Seedling questions?

I have three feminized seeds from green house seeds , big buddah cheese. They germinated real fast and I put them in rockwool and two of them sprouted roots after all of them sprouted out the top to show these real small round leaf and then there's two small real leaf coming out. The problem I'm having is they seem way too tall and skinny. About 3-4 inches and real skinny. I trasplanted the two showing roots into party cups full of soil to keep the roots moist. I did lower the metal hylide to about 3feet away. Oh yea it's a 400 watt metal ace by hortulux. And the seedlings ,even the two in soil/party cups are over a heating mat and under a humidity dome. With the air holes open. What do I do next? Help these things look too skinny and tall. :-)

sounds normal. take off the humidity dome and have a gentle breeze just gently blowing(not on the plant at first imo, start w/it getting indirect for a lil bit) air around it. that will strengthen the stem. the stretch is normal, its growing up towards the light, just get the light as close as possible. if it keep doing it really bad then get worried.

i never had this problem and i grow with cfls but my only guess is the light is too far away or not the right spectrum for veg growth.. ive seen some ugly ass stretched out seedlings and it bugs me out

true, plants grown properly w/cfls should be short and bushy w/no stretch really but with a metal halide/hps its normal cuz you cant get the light as close because of the heat so it has to kinda grow upwards to make up for the fact.
