Seedling sex

Hello

this is my first photo run . Iv just transplanted my 3 regular seedlings from 16oz solo cups to 2 galon fabric pots.im growing in a 2x2 closet . I have a fourth seedling (DAY 18-20) but i dont have a pot to plant that aswell. Im wondering if i can leave it in the solo cup until it shows it sex and then transplant it. What do you think?

Or even a 2 litre pop bottle...cut the very top of it off, poke some drainage holes in the bottom, and there ya go...this will obviously only be a 1-2 week solution as it will become root bound pretty quick, but it buys you more time to get a permanent bucket/container for it.

Get a bag of your preferred soil I whatever size fits your space, Stand it against the wall, open the top, slit some drainage in the sides and plant. Indoors you can set it on a garbage bag to catch runoff. I did outdoor grows like that when I first bought my place. Ground was undeveloped.

What I have done in the past is top the plant at the 4th or 5th node, then take that top and put the stem in a cup of water like you would flowers. Then, put it under a single cfl under the bathroom sink on 12/12. Make sure the water never dries up, and you'll know the sex in no time.

...thanks for letting me know ..what is this technique called so that can search more on it ? I just toped one at the 4 node...How many days do they need to show the sex ?

Thank you ! Iv read on the grow bible that stressing regular plants increase the chance of getting a male. Topping the plant at the 4-5 node before showing its sex isnt a big stress that may cause it to be male ?
