Hey this is my first grow and am about 2 weeks in and 2 of 5 plants are starting to get brownish grey spots in the middle of the leaves. Also the leaf edges slightly curl up. I am growing in biobizz light mix and 30% perlite using bottled water. Using 900w Led with only veg switch on less watts. Been using 24/0 scheduling thinking about switching to 20/4 thoughts? Mostly why am I getting the spots Calmag deficiency? Also about 77f and 50-60% humidity. Ph water usually between 6.2 and 6.7.IMG_0144.JPG IMG_0144.JPG IMG_0133.JPG

1. Looks too wet.
2. No Reason to use bottled water.

3. Bottled water is a waste of money , it is "filtered and RO " therefore stripped of
minerals namely ( calcium / magnesium ) .

4. PH your water for proper uptake. (6.5) keep it as narrow as possible not all over the place. Not between this and that. You will introduce deficiencies because certain elements may be out of PH and show as a problem.

5. A more " complete " soil ( sunshine , Promix , roots organic , Fox Farm , happy frog ) would have been a better choice .... As those soils carry enough nutes in its makeup to carry growth up to 5 weeks on water alone. NO added nutes that burn plants . Ph correct watering allows the plant to SELECTIVELY pull ONLY what needs for growth . Much simpler than trying to GUESS what it wants.

6. TURN ON BOTH SWITCHES ... And leave on for entire grow. Running on one switch gains nothing ... Panel is running way under power for good growth. By running BOTH switches , you are providing a mixed spectrum that would give you far better growth. Plants need as much light as they can get ! They beed to gain as much size as possible before going into flower.

7. These seem to be autos .... They are still young , since running 24/0 or 20/4 seem excessive ( i do autos ) sticking with 18/6 will give you great results. Doing a higher light schedule is a waste of time UNLESS you have the ultimate light and grow setup that is damn near perfect to get anything greater than 18/6. It is possible but there is a comprise between effort and results. You fuck up the feeding or some other shit AUTOMATICALLY NEGATES " any " benefit a higher light schedule " would have " brung. 18/6 is the light schedule to use.

8. Growing " autos " under 12/12 is even worse as you just chopped the already SHORT VEG hardwired in its genes. It will grow small and flower with less potential.
