Seedlings always dry

I’m running an hlg 300 turned down to 50% and my dirt seems to dry out within about 6 hours every time I water I’m wondering if running this low of a humidity level is causing that problem or the light. I’m just running a MG seedling soil with no added perlite

Six hours?

What size pots are those? They look to be a reasonable size for the plant size.

How much water are you giving them?

They say 4x 3.5 in. And I’m just watering them with a spray bottle but I feel like I get it pretty soaked when I do it and I’ll come back to look at them and they are very dry

Water them. A large water glass worth. When the soil is dry an inch deep (probably in two days, but check tomorrow just in case), water the whole pot until you get a few drips out of the weeping holes at the bottom. Then every time it's dry as I mentioned already, continue to do the full-pot watering each time.

You're going to need a pH pen tester if you don't already have one. pH your water to 6.5.

I’m just using distilled water right now and it’s ph is at 6.6 I’m going to have to get some ph up and down here soon though.

but I think solved the problem with the watering by doing what you said but one of them is dry today but I assume its because it has a little less soil than the other plant....Thanks for the help
