seedlings not making any progress - what am I doing wrong??

I'm not sure what, if anything, I am doing wrong. These seedlings germinated and sprouted ok. They are now in a bubbler, but the roots don't reach the water so it's an "aero" effect right now.

Room temp is around 24C, water temp is around 20C. pH is steady 5.6, I am correcting twice a day. Daily dose with H2O2 35% 1mL/L. But they aren't growing :( :( :(

Thank you!

Patience...sometimes it just takes a bit. How old are they? Sometimes it takes about 2 weeks before you see substantial growth.

Is it normal for plain water to climb so much in pH? I have to correct it down to 5.6 like 3x per day! It creeps up to 6.6-7.0 within 8 hours or so. Now I know that most hydroponic nutrients have pH buffers in them, and since this solution has no nutrients (they're just like 10 days old) it has no pH buffer. But the pH climb combined with the not-so-white roots makes me suspect pathogens? I gave them an extra dose of H2O2 today just in case it's pathogens. I also made an extra collar out of plastic-coated cardboard because I noticed that there was some light leaking into the root area through the styrofoam collar, and I know that light is NOT good for roots. Would light on the roots cause them to go brown?

I will sit tight, keep up the vigilant pH monitoring and H2O2, and hope for the best...

How loing have they been growing, it can take forever for little guys to grow, if only you could see their roots, those things are what is growing right now. Once the roots are set, then the leaves will start coming out. The roots need to get strong before the plant can grow.

It's it aero, I can see the roots easily, and there's no progress whatsoever. In fact, they have started shriveling a little today... I fear I don't have much time left :(

They are almost two weeks old.
