Im new to growing and have a couple questions. anyone who can answer would be helpful thanks.
1. I put seeds in a glass of water for 24 hrs then moved them to a moist paper towel between to dinner plates. one root started to come through on one seed before I even moved it to plate. when is a known time to transfer to soil?

2.After planting the seedling when and how much water should I use?

3.When is ok give nutients to planted seedling?

1. I wait until the seedling is an inch long before putting it in dirt. Don't cover up the new leaves with dirt. Instead leave the top of the seedling on the dirt surface. 2. Use a spray bottle and warm water and mist the new gal 3-4 times a day. Also, once a day I dribble a half ounce or so of water around the plant. 3. Use MiracleGro Potting Mix as it already has nutrients to feed a plant 3 months. BigSteve.

Welcome mate, I just mist and water when the soil appears dry.
its very very easy to kill your plAnt with water as seedlings as
the roots can damp off, trick is giving it enough water to survive
but also keeping it dry enough to make the roots expand and search
for water. I would not suggest any feeding of nutrients at all until you get
at least two true sets of leaves and the cotyledon (round) leaves start to wither.

It really doesn't matter. Some soak in water until the root pops, some paper towels the whole time, some don't do any and just plant it right in the dirt and keep it moist. Some drop it in once the seed cracks and some wait for the root to grow a bit.
