Seeds from polinated plants

So if i was to pollinate a couple of lower buds will the whole plant then produce seeds or just the treated buds
Arw the seeds then 'copoes of the mother plant like a clone or could one get different phenos of the mom

Only the areas that come into contact with pollen will be affected.

If you can keep the pollen to lower budsites then only they will produce seed but this is easier said than done.
Any seeds that would grow would have varying pheno types, unless the pollen your using a from a clone of the plant being pollinated that had been made produce pollen using colloidal silver or Sts.... Is my understanding lol
