i'm growing a female under cfl's for seeds.. the female was polinated the 3rd or 4th week of flowering because the male was a sativa (female was indica)

i started flowering May 31st 2009 and on the whole plant i can only see a few grren seeds coming from the buds.. all the hairs are red and the tricss are mostly amber...

about how much longer will it take fer all the seeds to become ripe before the plant dies (or finishes it's life cycle) ....

will it make the seeds rip before it dies or??

thanks.. highwayman

anyone know about how long after pollination you have to wait for the seeds to be ripe..?
about 8 weeks. this means that an 8 week plant pollinated at week four of flower would be scheduled to ripen at week 12 of flower. i wait until several calyxes burst and touching the plant makes a few fall to the ground. then you KNOW they're done.

for seeds, there's no such thing as too long, and also, seeds will continue to mature in a cut and drying plant.
