Seeds not sprouting through soil

Hey everyone!

I germed 4 maroc seeds in warm water for about 24 hours until the root showed.

I then placed them in 16oz cups filled with soil and placed them under 2 23 watt CFL in a 1'x2' wooden box. I then placed plastic wrap over the tops to keep them humid.

I moistened the soil, but not too much.

It has been almost a week and they have not popped through, whats up with that?

Probably fell victim to pythium, damp-off pressures.

Hydrate them for 12 hours, sow them in sterile, moist but well aerated fine soil, DO NOT cover them, and wait.
