Selective Harvesting. How Many licks to get to the center of the lollipop???

Selective harvesting questions..help apreciated.

How long has one gone when selective harvesting as far as weeks in bloom?

How did you run if at all an end flush?

Does the cannabis plant continue to grow until ALL parts are fully ripened and then proceed to decline until death?

If the above ranks true... Would lighting not be so much of an issue as far as penetration goes to the personal grower who can wait the time to selective harvest?
For example a low penetration CFL scrog grow... Say you have bud growth 12 inches above the screen and your lights penetrate effectivly to 3"-4" (This is just random hypothetacle lol) You can harvest say week 10 for ripened top 3", week 12, next 3". Wk 14.. Etc. Etc. Providing more of a purpetual type grow with same plants and providing each section a chance to fully ripen. Or will the previous weeks 1-9 with such lighting just not give the bottom any chance at all to mature later on?

I know its pretty specific . but the RIU community has always been a wealth of info and great to converse.

How Many licks to get to the center of the lollipop???

Like apples: Trics don't ripen all at once

the dominant area gets ripe first

the area that gets most of the light

growers are reminded to rotate their plants each watering

to prevent a lopp sided plant

as trics don't ripen all at once

growers should sequentially harvest each plant

as the trics ripen to their preferred color

if indoors with a HPS/COB etc shinning down

then those top most trics/stems should be harvest first

( but only if you are really concerned with Trics color

many of my customers are, more than ever!!!)

With my fussy clients it may take up to 3 weeks to harvest a plant

for this I offer a service like 'turn key operation'

the client owns the plant from seed they buy from me and I grow the plant to their specs

this idea is yet to hit the US but is big back east

and yes I charge shit loads for the privilege

as its highly distracting method to grow this way

lower the light each snip adjust venting

Do you grow organic or more of a supersoil mix to acheive not having to flush a week to extract excess nutes, flavor wise?

All organic

unless the client says otherwise

I don't flush but have done in the past on salt grows/nutes

Ok I got to a plant I had in mind when posting. Def a botched monstercropped grow. Top came out nice so far but after first chop the results of a shit grow appeared far worse than the surface showed lol.



But when left, even after a couple days the.color and growth has changed a lot..



I did push about 3.5oz of the top chop, which is good for me off one plant indoor. But maybe theres hope that I can push some more? Or at least get the rest enough resin to produce a quality concentrate?

Do the customer have access to view the operation?

cautiously yes

I drag her out put her on the patio table

and drink tea smoke a J

I advise noobs to use a vape over a pipe

as then you can insert green raw weed to the vape

and get a good hit

or wait 3 weeks for a dry and cure ..?
