Oh joy, a group of Senate Republicans, including Cruz and McCain are planning on stonewalling the Supreme Court appointment for another four years.

Apparently their contention is that the "Framers of the Constitution" wanted one branch of the government to be able to eliminate one of the other branches through inaction. That is the strict definition of "advise and consent".
They should all be hung from their withered testicles.
