Seprated Plant from another plant.. Transplant shock.

Well after i transplanted my plant, the whole plant was wilting so i put a plastic bag over the plant.( i watered the soil before, i transplanted) Today i took a look at it and it wasnt wilting as much, it looked alil perky.. How long should i keep the plastic bag on?
It only about 5-6 weeks old... I had to seprate it from another plant i had in the same pot. The one i seprated from the orignal pot was all defomed looking.

I would take it off after no more than 48hrs and see how it does. You could have ripped some roots.
