can anybody tell me whats the yeild like and the smell and how fat does it finish

It yields very well, the buds retain their shape when cured so you've got some high bag appeal bud. It always amazes me how well it does produce, it's not Chronic but it's very good.

The smell to me is like the sugared bubblegum that came in sports cards - the flat slabs that were so good. That bubblegum taste with just a hint of icing sugar. A real treat.

I've double topped all my [bubblegum] so far (doing a couple of horizontal grows now) so I didn't get that huge cola - all four colas were just under pop can size and solid.

Nice plant, I just put another in flower tonight and have an ounce curing.

What's the High like?

greenjumble I've got extreme tolerance build up so my review of the potency will be out of kilter with reality. I have a friend who stops in a couple times a year when he goes by my town, he and his evil twin brother got me smoking bud 10 years ago and he smokes regularly and considers himself a pot head.

Last time he was up I had some Dr Greenthumb Big Laughing - which is great but I don't find it as potent as Serious Bubblegum - and we shared a Volcano bag. I usually have a bag every hour or so and hardly notice any effects. My buddy couldn't finish 1/3 a bag and had to stare at the wall for 15 minutes before he was functional enough to focus on the TV.

So, by comparison I can say that Bubblegum has a fairly good hit and it gives me a mild but beautiful floaty high. Good mood elevator.

Serious Bubblegum is an excellent strain, to grow and vaporize. Love it. If ordering remember that Serious is the sativa pheno and TH is the indica which would give a more sedative stone than energizing high. Another option would be Bogbubble or one of BOG's amazing crosses like Sour Bubble.

Spectrum of Experience


1. Onset: fast effect or creeper. creeper 1 2 3 4 5 fast

3 to 3.5 - I start to feel it fast, sometimes a lightness in the head while holding the inhale. Most of the effects start within a couple of minutes and build. It take me 15 minutes to go through a Volcano bag.

2. Up (stimulating) and Down (sedative)

Up.

- Liven the disposition and stimulate the emotions:

Mood elevator. A lightness of being. Great for hiking the beach/woods with an I-inhale or just sitting alone.

Inspiring sociability and talkativeness:

I'm usually very solitary and Bubblegum makes people tolerable to be around and still leaves me sharp enough to make fun of them and deliver some cutting insults.

Sedative and depressant effects:

None that I notice, even on the come down which is mild.


3. Head High / Body Stone
Energizing - yes
Motivating - yes
Couch lock - no

Bubblegum releases you to do the things you want, but doesn't drive you to do them with uncontrollable urges.

Anxiety - no
Euphoria - yes, but controllable euphoria.

Depression - very good helping depression while leaving functional
Mania - have not had the pleasure of finding out. Yet.

Antisocial - makes people tolerable for short periods
Anger - fucken right I get angry but the Bubblegum doesn't help me get angrier!

7. Ceiling: How high (of far) one is capable of going with the variety. How many hits can be consumed until more hits are unnoticeable.

I'm noticing a ceiling but I'll check with my buddy next time he's up. If I can get him to keep hitting the Volcano.

More potent than Big Laughing, not as potent as Kali Mist. 3.5

9. Duration short 1 2 3 4 5 long

Maybe an hour.

10. Tolerance: ability to provide the same experience via the same amount over time – the burnout factor. "Over time" means the long run: months, years, decades...

11. Taste

Bazoka Joe, sports card gum, that pink gum that comes like a Tootsie roll. The lightest hint of icing sugar, pink gum sweetness.

That was very helpful. I find Haze makes my grandmother interesting when she visits. My mother prefers the AK-48 "b/c it not too strong but chills out her anxiety and helps with her sleep." I'll keep that in ind about the Pheno... How tall does the Sativa pheno get? I'm finishing up my new grow cabinet so I have to be more mindful of height than before.

I double topped and put into 12/12 at 16" in pro mix and ended up with 38" - 42" plants. Single cola in hydro is a different story, a 6" clone would go to 48". I did a couple of 18" clones in hydro, put them in 12/12 about 3". Got around an ounce off each. Long tall colas in pro mix but branchy in hydro.

That very helpful... I'm switching from organic soil to experimenting with hydro. They gave me the floro a,b, and a third one which I will probably just use up be fore I experiment with other brands. How did it take nutes?

Never a problem. In pro mix I used Fox Farm liquid and in hydro General Hydroponics. I used 1/2 dose for each water with Fox Farm rather than a full dose and then clear water. I've switched to Fox Farm granular, side by side with General Hydroponics I harvested more than 2X with two identical Kali Mist clones.

I'm sure that I'll dial the nutes in better in time, but this is a very easy strain to grow, very forgiving. Next to Northern Lights this is the easiest strain I've grown.

Re: White Rhino: I'd go with Medicine Man by Mr Nice before White Rhino by Greenhouse: Mr Nice was working for Greenhouse when he bred WR and renamed his strain when he left. Although the genetics should be the same (or very similar) Medicine Man gets better reviews, perhaps better breeding with a smaller breeder.

Big blue description

Big blue is indeed Northernlights 5# x Blueberry

It is not an outside strain, although i think it is possible. I have grown it a lot of times now and i must say its a very special strain.

It is mostly indica, though the sativa pretty much is dominant.

It grows not only with short internodes but i grows AMAZINGLY fast. What eg an afghani does in thirty days this strain wil do in only 15 days IT IS THAT FAST. The sativa like leaves allow the light to penetrate perfectly so give them a long vegetative stage for a big yield! It flower in eight weeks. And it does not like a whole lot of nutrients(keep your EC a LITTLE lower) BIG BLUE IS A BIG YIELDER(its a white strain)

The first time i did not grow the long enough but under 600 HPS we had 380gr on 1 square meter(plant height about 80cm) when you grow them larger (even when closet cultivating) 500 gr+ is not difficult.

The smoke is very very sweet, and although its mostly indica, its high is mainly cerebrale with a relaxing body effect. Connaiseurs will apreciate its taste, its more bleuberry then bleuberry itself!"

Big Blue sounds great, relaxing and cerebrale - but I suspect a stone, not a high. Medicine Man (WR) will knock you the fuck out. Should have been called Prime M.T. (Prime Mike Tyson). Very stong and medicinal.
