Setting up a Perpetual Grow to harvest every 2 months

So i just bought a my grow tent. Its Earthworm brand and I bought it on Amazon (Cheapest prices ANYWHERE! also got my lights there . Dimensions are 96Lx48Wx78H, but I plan on splitting it and having 2 4x4ft rooms. I have a 400w and 600w ulti-lumenx hps/mh grow lights. The plan is to use the 400w for veg and 600w for hps. Veg to 2 months, flower for 2 months and so on...

Now they are both air cooled in cooltubes so i can have them almost touching my plants without burning but my question is how many plants can i have under them so they all get the maximum amount of light? I think 6 plants would be good but id by REALLY happy if i could fit 8 or 9 but im not sure whats most effective since the cooltube has a weird rectangle light footprint.

So if anyone has any advice or past experiences please share! Also it would be good to know what size pots you guys think would be good, Ive only grown plants about 2 - 2.5ft before and now I have a LOT more upwards space.

Those lights will be ok in 4x4. Aim for 50w per sq ft. You may not get many in there if your vegging for 8 weeks. Try splitting the flowering room in half and harvest every 4 weeks (rotate) and veg for 4 weeks.Better to have shorter plants under artificial lighting ,the 600 will only penetrate about 12" below the canopy ,anything after that is stem and popcorn.

Just go for it, and accept that many of your plans won't work.

what do you mean by rotate? I also forgot to mention that im either going to be lsting or scroging so im not just going to let them grow straight up naturally.

Veg them for 2 months you will NOT be able to fit in more than 2-3 plants if you are planing on LSTing or scrog ... you will not have the space for it ... I have 4 plants in 4x3 and the canopy totally covers my cabinet and I'm just grateful I just let them go up. (veged for 40 days)

Next time I will have 8 plants in the same room but they will only be 8 inches tall when I start flowering and therefore will the canopy be just as dence but I will have more wiggle room concidering the distance of the lights.

Need to work on the venting situation but ill post some pics when I have more time. Just ordered seeds too they should come in about a week got some Chiesel, blue cheese, and CHEESUS! OMGersh!... yeah i like cheese.
Btw is this the right place to start a grow log or journal or should I post somewhere else for that?

Okay so heres the updated plan
My goal is to get 1LB every harvest and to achieve this...
Im going to set half of my grow tent 4x4 area for flowering and Im going to buy another 600w and run both in that 4x4 area. The other 4x4 area im going to put a fluorescent track light to keep mothers under and then use the 400w for veg.
Now im starting from seed and ill have 5 plants to start with so Ill veg them till theyre about a foot tall then take clones and move to flower. While those are flowering ill veg the clones and when theyre ready ill move them into the flower room as well and then repeat. So after the first round if say im vegging for 4 weeks before moving and then flowering for 8 weeks i should be harvesting every 4 weeks either 5 or 6 plants.
Does this seem possible? Im really just trying to maximize my grow potential so if any of you have a better idea please tell me! Right now i have my 4x8 tent a 400w and 600w both switchable ballasts and I have money to buy one more light even a 1000w if that makes sense to get.

if the tent only fits 4-5 mature plants, then ur gonna have put in 3 plants wait 4 weeks put in 3 more so then u get a harvest every 4 weeks..U wont be able to get 5-6 plants every 4 weeks as u cant fit that many in the tent..But u should be able to do 3..GL and dont aim for a LB aim for 2-3oz per plant so like 6-8 oz every 4 weeks..

well aim for a lb but dont be disapointed when u dont get it...

yeah that sounds about right. Id start with 4 to keep the cycles even but im getting 5 seeds and i want to grow them all and pick the best phenotype, eventually ill start getting 4 plants every week. 1LB might be a lot I just feel like I bought such a huge tent XD Right now I have my 2 plants from my first grow in there but theyll be finished by the end of the month and then im gonna start growing some cheesus mmm Ill keep a log of it too and post it here when i start it

Have you concidered going SOG ? then you could fit in there around 40+ plants

You know out of all the growing techniques SOG is the one i have read almost nothing about . It sounds interesting though since it would cut down on total grow time since youd only veg for like a week? Ill look into it I have a month before I start my next grow

Plus you can put more lights in there if you want, you'll have lots of height to play with.

Yeah my tent is pretty tall lol. Do you mean like putting a table in there so i can grow one set on the floor and then have another set on the table? I like this guys set up he and he claims on here to get 1lb to 1.5lbs every 2 weeks! I dont expect to make that much but i mean it sounds promising even half a lb every 2 weeks would be great for me.

I think the heat on the set on top would be way too hot, heat dispurses up ... but I mean use 2x600w on the same 6x4 and the 400w as veg/clone in 2x4

if my flower room is 4x4 and i use 6" pots i could fit say 48 plants in there and if im putting 8 plants in every 2 weeks that would make 6 cycles. Thats pretty much half of what that guy was doing size wise. Would those be good pot sizes for SOG? With 2 600w lights in the flower room i could prolly veg them to about a 10" and harvest would make them around 2-3 ft? All this math is based of the past 30 minutes of SOG research i just did fwi lol

Im failing at math in my head right now but ill try... with a 6x4 flower room in 6" pots i could potentially fit 96 plants? i think thats right anyways... then if i had it on 6 cycles that would mean harvesting 16 plants every 2 weeks? correct me if im wrong
