you're missing the point(S) 5 of them lol
but seriously; you don't judge a book by its cover, but so you think anyone would accept any information/ideals from people who cant address, or present in a politically acceptable manner. disenfranchised, narrow prospective-peep hole position; even it is legit they fail on every level of presentation and execution.
I have little understanding of what those people's intentions were. We do have a small but active anarchy group in this area (Portland Oregon) and they have done similar before. I lean toward favoring some of their actions such as their defense of this city when hate groups wanted to bring their message here in June. They planned to come here just days after a white supremacist murdered two people on a light rail train because they interfered with his attacks on some girls who didn't match his color wheel. About 100 anarchists along with 2000 peaceful counter demonstrators made the 600 nazis stay behind police cordon and they left knowing that Portland is hostile to them and their message of hate.
My post wasn't so much a comment on the arrested's inept messaging about their cause. It was more about the fact that they committed violent crimes and are being prosecuted for them. If you throw stuff at cops expect to be arrested. One of the people arrested was for theft, so it was probably a mixed bag in that group.
Dirt bags like the OP are repeating right wing malarkey that these people represent the larger group who will stand peacefully to rebuke the movement promoted by right wing leaders like Trump to marginalize and suppress minorities in this country. In some cases Antifa has defended peaceful protesters from the hate-groups, so I'm not altogether disapproving of them. I'm just saying don't throw stuff at cops during a peaceful anti-hate march when the cops are there to allow the march to safely proceed.
