sexing in spring?

I was looking at garden this am. And begun to wonder if my plants are 4 to 5 weeks old and have been outside from the start with the days going from 11 hrs of light to a 12/12 natural cycle is there any chance they could be showing sex? Do I need to be paying attention this early in the game. obviously early sex would help....ya know.....

you been giving them 11/13 photo period?

In my exereince plants can take 1-3 weeks to show sex

the outside cycle was 11/13 and with spring ahead time change it went to 12/12.....i havent given them anything.....they were dry sewn outside......

thye should show soon as mature. Mayb e another week or two.

allright they are about 4 or 5 nodes and the days are getting longer....hmmmmwe shall see

im new at this

you can revert back to veg but it will take more than 12/12

for real? very nice with flowers and all....some strains i believe will flower regardless of season. others will def go baack to reveg. allthough take into acct for a natural flower (outdoor) the days get shorter heeding the plant to produce the fruit before the onslaught of less than ideal growing conditions IE: snow ice freezing temps.
so let me query of you this: Are your days getting longer or shorter?
If ur plants were started outside, not an autoflowering strain, and ur days are getting longer, it will be interesting to see what happens.....Ive oft pondered how particular MJ is when it comes to knowing the difference of light in minutes, and whether a drastic (1 hour) jump to 12/12 would induce outdoor. As It is in my hemisphere this only happens once a year allthough there is the plain jane flower in the fall back scheme of time.....

So I live in wisconnie, at a about a 13/11 photo, farely new to this, one of my 3 sprouts got eaten by a fucking slug, anyways, that could be a problem with the lighting since i just planted since it was last frost last week s my days will only get longer, any idea if it a waste of time since it wont bud or wat?

i was born in wausau.lmao i dont think its a waste time. but it def is still gettin chilly at night which will impede the plants growth....the days will almost be at 13/11 day /dark in 4 weeks or less.....have fun of course

ok now i can join the club...my short rider showed her first hairs trhis am. so she is doing what she is supposed to be doing....as far as the others im really gonna get down on hands and knees today to try and figure out whats what if at all.

as of yesterday i got a 5 week old boy....so thats great in the fact that some are sexing and i can pull em......he is about 5 inches tall with lil ball sacks all over

i pulled one 2days ago and 1 more in 2 or 3 days i think both ones that i topped i prolly wont do that again

but my 3 females just keep showing more and more i hope they go back to veg

hello i found my way back to the thread....pulled another boy this mornin and found 2 definite girls......so id like to hear someone chime in about revegging naturally outside.....there has got to be a point with daylight when that will happen......short rider startin to look perrty

Mother nature has no clue we changed our clocks forward

Yeah, you're gonna flower early. Mid May is the safest bet on outdoor.

if you plant outside too early, and the light cycle goes from long days, to shorter days, to long days again, i'd be concerned about re-vegging ...not that revegging is necessarily bad in and of itself, but I think it stresses the plant and stunts growth/increases chance of the plant herming

I've started mine indoors under fluoros, lights on 24/7 ...i want to put em outdoors in late may after threat of night frost passes...the light cycle outside will be about 15/9 then...and the longest day of the year here (june 22nd) we recieve 15.27 hours of light (only a half hour difference...insignificant IMO)

so i plan on slowly cutting back some hours, maybe 1.7 hours/week over the next 5 weeks till they're ready to go outside

hell, i have plenty of bagseeds....and the plants i've started i small, so i have plenty of time....i could just re-start all over again and actually USE my light timer, set at 15/9 but idk if it really matters that much
