sexing my starts. help??

I have a couple of seeds about three and half weeks old. 5 nodes up and what is the best way too sex without putting whole plant into bloom cycle??

There is no way to tell from your plant when its in flowering. Unless it preflowers, Which in that case it would be showing you that it is ready to flower. That will only happen with older plants at least a month and a half old+.

you could clone for sex, take a clone. root it for a few days. then put it under 12/12 light cycle, youll see if its male or female within a week or so.

If your wondering about preflowers, it will on start at branch nodes at the main stem, you will see a growth there. both male and female. To tell them apart, you will see two white hairs come out from the female. or you will see sacks start forming in little clusters if its male. It is not hard to distinguish males and females.

OK I have heard of that also I heard you could put a dark bag over a lower branch for 12 hours have you heard of this technique?

And I know enough to tell sex just want to determine as early as I can and not wste too much time as these seeds were free and I have some good beans to start also

I have never heard of that technique. Give it a shot, it willl take more than one 12 hour dark period to try the experiment. Give it a shot if u cant do anything else. I have my doubts on it working though.

I meant 12 hours a day till showing my goof. Thanks any body else have any suggestions??
