At long last, the grow is here!! To those of you that followed the construction of my new grow tent, THANK YOU! I wouldn't be at this point today without the help and advice you offered along the way. For those of you that missed the DIY thread, here is a link for you DIY Grow Tent. ALL of the questions you may have and information you're looking for about the grow space will be located there. (in quite a bit of detail, as well as some good grow "theory" discussion, worth your time if you haven't seen it)
Some basics about this grow.
Genetics: Lemon Skunk and Great White Shark, feminized from GreenHouseSeeds Co. (ordered from The Attitude)
Soil: Fox Farms Happy Frog Soil
Nutrients: GH FloraNova as a base as well as other various organic/non-organic additives as the ladies need it
Dimensions: 23"W x 13"D x 56"H (i don't plan to utilize all available height)
Light: 125W CFL (1 cool for veg and 1 warm for flower)
uhhhmm... that's enough for information.
Seeds are starting germination first thing tomorrow morning. I'm thinking the paper towel method is the way to go. Once I see a nice little taproot going into a rooting plug in a seed starting tray under 23W CFL lamp until we see some healthy growth. Then into their 1 gallon home!
Keep checking back, look forward to sharing this grow with everyone!!
