Shade cloth percentage?

hey guys, I'm growing at about 6000ft and it can get pretty hot and dry in the middle of summer. I was thinking 30% shade cloth would keep the plants cool while also getting plenty of sunlight. The sun is about 50% brighter here than at sea level. Any other suggestions?

Shade tarps work well, just make sure you have enough room for proper airflow. Seen some guys make a sort of 'screen house' around the plant. When it rains, they sag and sort of collect water so be aware of that. I use shade tarps over my lettuces to lengthen the time before they decide to bolt.
