Shading net outdoor grow? Yes/No?

I have recently constructed a shade net of 9'x6' black microfiber. The sun is still hitting them directly during the day this tends to increase the average humidity underneath and is letting my buds swell in size. Also gives some much needed protection from wind and heavy rain we have been experiencing.








These ladies have been under netting for 10 days and immediately trichomes density skyrocketed.

What are your thoughts?

depending where u are in the world it is 100% the corrct thing to do as the temps get way to hot and IR heat on the leaves can hurt more those days

during the hottest point in the day the plants are in shade they are going to do alot better as they do not need to cool self off just build and be the plant they want

Awesome yeah I get it so that energy is used to build the trichomes instead of cooling itself down. I guess my question is would I get better buds with just sunlight or shade over it?

right the water is the energy instead of need water to leaves to cool them off the water is directed to the sites to build bringing the goodies from the soil for building

as for total shade it depends where u are (aussy in the outback yes shade it as temps stay in upper 90s 100s alot )
u only need to worry about hottest times of day 11-4 .....if u are not that hot the way u have by 1 30 -2:30 the sun should be angled in getting on the leaves so i say leave it unless u feel it 100% need....rem shade comes at the cost of blocking the air flow from breezes u want to keep in balance as the air flow brings in Co2 and takes away hot air around leaves during day time

weed is like any other plant
they all react differently some do really well in heat some do not ......it is the strain

understand this is working for u where u are with that strain ........a different one might take it better not needing the shade or might need more
so when u are looking at seeds look at the genetics some strains like afgan would take the heat better then a tropical/siberian one (tropical would be more shaded )
