Shaggn's 600w Hempy!! (K.C. Brains - Cristal Limit) ++

Well the title says it all. This is my first go at hempy's, always grew in soil/less. I have been looking for something other than soil/less for a long time. Contemplated many styles such as flood n drain, dwc, aeroponics. But was looking for something simplistic to get my feet wet. I stumbled across hempy's and decided it was a good place to start. Anyways let me breakdown my set-up for you, hope you enjoy the show!!

Veg tent is a 2x4 with 3 - t5s atm, may add more if the need arises.

Bloom tent is a 4x4 with a 600(hps) digi cooltube with a 6" extraction fan n a can33 filter. May add some more lighting under the canopy if the need arises. Gear for this tent is just starter gear and will be upgraded when I can do so.

Nutes are GH flora series, I played around with the Lucas formula for awhile but have since gone back to using all 3 again. Have a few other brands i'm interested in trying out at a later date.

Years ago I bought some Cristal Limit and found 3 phenos. For a general breakdown on these phenos, check out my post in the breeders section @ https://www.rollitup.org/breeders-paradise/561765-breeding-project-crystal-limit.html Just so I don't drag out my opener I now have 6 phenos from my past breeding and will find out how they perform at the same time you do. Other strains will be added during the duration of 2013!!! Peace.

Some mods have been done to quiet things down due to my current location.

Hey, could you please explain the "hempy" grow alittle bit?.. I've herd of it, just never had the time/chance to read up on it.. also, I would say someone doing it, and has hands on experiance, could explain it somewhat better! I hope you don't mind breaking it down for me bro... Thanks,Dank.
Also, I have a grow thread going where I am going to give eneryone that "subs" to the grow FREE beans!! The 2 strains are a 100%pure Sativa gave to me by my Dad back in the 80's!!

I also crossed the 100% Sativa with a 8 Ball Kush, thus making a (8 Bomb)! You will have your choice of those two, one or the other, or both!!

I'm lovin these hempys, I truly don't think it could get any easier. I hand-water n it's a cinch, altho if I had the numbers I'd normally run I may speak differently lol.

Well the ladies got some eatz tonight, seem to be loving their final home!! As you may see I have 6 phenos of Cristal Limit and 1 of an oldskool strain from a friend. Once they start putting some bloom on, I will seperate each pheno for their own shots. That way we can see their slight (if any) differences. Obviously I will pick the nicest one of each!!! One question Shags, how far away do you have your lights? Looks like they could go a bit lower if your still using the T5's? If its the hps though, all good

They are under the hps now Started them a few days ago with the light about 2ft up, to harden them off some. Now it's at about 1ft and will eventually get to 8" by the end of this week. Then it stays at that height from the canopy for the remainder (if my cooltube can cover the area that is!!) For my veg area, the T5's are up a lil higher than i'd like, some future mod designs in the works. Veg tent is 5ft, so i'm going to use about 3.5 for the moms n have 1.5 up top for my clone domes. Measurements vary atm, want to utilize most of the area for the moms Peace!!

All 5 of the Swiss Cheese have spit a tap. Also popped 5 of Cristal Limit 3 (only had 5 beans) which originally was the pink pheno I was looking for. Didn't realize I had beans from her (nice surprise), found them buried in my stash of beans. All 5 of them have spit taps aswell. Didn't plan to add 10 more to my already packed veg tent!! Guess we will see where this goes now lol. Peace!!
