Shall I buy LED Lights?

Im currently growing under some low power cfls in a growbox 27" tall. When this current grow is done I wanted to build a bigger box as I was thinking about growing some strawberry cough and I have heard it can go up to 3ft tall. I was going to upgrade to better cfls but my current ones I use get warm/hot at the moment and if I upgraded I may have a heat issue on my hands. I am now thinking about growing under LEDs.

If there is anyone who grows under LED's could you tell me if these http://www.growlights.co.uk/hydroponic-lamp-225-led-grow-light-panel-board-bulb-kit-p-34.html LEDs would be good enough to produce a good healthy plant and yield.

Any help would be great! :eyesmoke:

If you get that you'll be wasting your money. Look a panel that uses 3w chips and at least 90w actual draw.

I use LED's.

Do not buy cheap LED's.

Check out Blackstar for the best bang for your buck.

http://www.gothamhydroponics.com/featured-products/blackstar-240w-led-grow-light-3w-cree.html They draw about 130watts actual power, and use CREE LED's....

http://www.hydrogrowled.com/LED-Grow-Lights-W42.aspx - Apparently these LED"s kick ass, but for the price you can get a few blackstars... and I know blackstars work well!

http://www.growledhydro.com/ - Also apparently really good, but also really god damn expensive.

From what I've read and from contacting different companies asking questions about their lights, I'd advise staying away from hydrogrowled. The "woman" who runs that company has a horrible history of ripping people off. Some people say the lights work well, but I don't trust "her" or the lights.
