Feel like a stuck record now. 4th grow, 4th time I've encountered the same problems.
DWC - Plant topped at 5th node - everything was looking beautiful for first couple weeks. Last week I got a slight tinge on the roots above the water line, and as usual it's developed into rot right through the zone - pics attached (it always starts above the water line). A disctinctly yellow root set - nowhere near as bountiful as when I usually reach this stage, and swimming around the res (despite doing a full change yesterday) you can see bits of detached roots swimming around in the current. I'm sure the CannaZym will turn it back into food, but that's beside the point, especially as I did a full res change yesterday (these pics taken this morning).
DWC 1st attempt - rhizotonic + GH nutes
DWC 2nd attempt - Orca + GH nutes
DWC 3rd attempt - sterile + GH nutes
DWC 4th attempt - Orca + CannaZyme + GH nutes
No matter what I try the outcome is always the same. I have a 25w pump and a 200mm air disc stone. Tried directly under the basket. Tried to one side of the basket. Nothing makes any difference. I clean the air filter in the pump religiously. I run RO water through the humidifier and I give it a full clean down every week.
I'm totally at a loss as to why this keeps happening. I don't even know whether to just give up at this point. And keep buying the tampered shit off the crappy local dealer - it might be crap but at least I would have something to smoke.
