Shipping weed overnight within mexico????

whats up everybody I just had a quick question I hope somebody can answer for me. I'm going on vacation in a couple months to Cancun Mexico and I'm flying out of Tijuana, Mexico. I know I can go a week without weed but if you are a true smoker you understand how amazing it will be to smoke some delicous cali greens on a beach in Cancun. That being said I've done some research and found out that in 2009 Mexico enacted a law that decriminalized having up to 5 grams of Marijuana for personal use. I was thinking of putting it in those fake drink containers with a care package and overnight it to myself from Tijuana to Cancun right before I jump on the plane. But if having 5grams is allowed wouldn't I be allowed to bring it on the plane? I'm not flying across any borders. Does anyone have expierience or knowledge to shed on the subject?

Call the airport and ask them 'hypothetically', but make sure you get someone who speaks English well, and with little Spanish accent (unless you speak Spanish, then ask in Spanish) to make absolutely SURE they understand your question correctly.

Don't ship it there......jail there would suck. I've never had a problem securing smoke there- just ask a cab driver to help you help, many of them will. My last time there I found a driver who made himself available when ever I needed to go someplace. I asked him to help me out and about an hour later he brought someone to me with a large one oz cola wrapped in newspaper. It was golden brown, and average quality but lasted us a whole week. I think I paid around $100 for it and I tipped the driver $20. No problem whatever.....

Thank you so much for your input bro I definitely would not want to Get locked up down there. But if its legal to posses 5 grams Why would I end up in jail? It's within Mexico and its overnight delivery....

You need to better check the Mexican laws more closely.......I believe there are important details you are leaving out.

If you know those details please do enlighten me. My eyes are tired of staring at the screen and researching, so far I haven't found
any other details

Mexican laws tend to only apply to mexicans. Legal or not, I wouldn't want to be caught with weed on an airplane.
Put it in your ass where it will be safe.

Just ship it to yourself like you are already planning.

If people ship pounds of weed through the US postal system all the time, surely you can manage to conceal five grams well enough that the mexican postal system wont detect it...

And even if they do detect it, it's only five grams.

Make sure you keep a few hundreds on you just in case you do get bothered by the mexican cops so you can pay them off right away. The longer you stall, the more cops will show up and the more you're going to have to pay.

That goes for pretty much any encounter with mexican cops.

Empty a few smokes, replace tobacco with weed...they never check open packs of cigarettes close enough to detect.

Used to be able to get that done for you in Vietnam; give em a carton of unused cigarettes. They empty them fill them with Cannabis and seal the carton for you. Can carry it, ship it or whatever. No one will touch it.
