Short high temperatures ok?

I just started a grow and my temps are mostly on the good side, but I can't maintain the ac all day to keep my temps on the nice side. Is it ok that for about 3hrs a day that my reservoir temps climb to about 75 and room temps to about 81? Normally res is between 65 and 70 and room is 72-76. Now this 3 hours is not straight may be an hour here and there but it adds up to about 3 in all

This is going to come as a shocker, but in the 10 or so years I've been working with DWC, I've not once checked the reservoir temperatures nor have I done anything silly like put ice bottles in the tank. (no offense to those that meticulously control reservoir temps through any means possible)

Root rot comes from something else.

Your temperatures are fine if the room temperature only goes up to 81F.

You can't get algae if there's no light entering the reservoir.

Root rot in DWC is almost always caused by too few bubbles or incorrect feeding, but the blame on forums always goes to res temps and lack of H2O2.
