Hi everyone. I am currently growing one plant in a 40wx18xd30h. It is a naturally shorter plant I would have assumed. Looks indica. But My question is I am growing DWC in a 3 gallon sterelite container blacked out bottom w/ standard white top from Wal-Mart. I have a ton of 5 gallon buckets. If I go deeper in my container will I grow a larger plant. Taller I guess. My plant is 2 feet wide and about 22 inches tall. I am moving her to a cabinet that will be 46 inches tall real soon. 3 weeks into flower and buds are too close to lights. Will my next grow be tall if I move to a deep bucket? Thanks.

This came up in another thread. In my experience, plants in DWC grow to the height they are genetically programmed to grow to. One exception would be if they lack root space. However, I have grown 5 ft plants in 2 gal of water. You might want to think about a dwarf plant. One is Buddah's White Dwarf. Small but yields surprisingly well and very good smoke.
