Hey guys,
I need some help with lighting cycles. I've read that some folks have been having some good success with 12/12 from seed, but in these instances its just 12/12 from the start. The rest of the grows i've seen or read about had the normal period of vegitating that would be present in the wild. But i haven't read about very many grows with a short mini-veg time and then early forced flowering.
I have a unique situation in that i have a friend who has a house for the summer, in which we can do a fairly sophisticated indoor soil grow, with an attatched outdoor greenhouse, as long as the enclousure remains stealth enough for the occasionaly weekend rentor. If you could see the house, location, context of situation, it would become apparent the only moral and technical limit to this grow is being out of the house by the end of august so no legal implications are given to anyone not related to the grow.
My problem is i started germ'ing the first batch of clones around 20 days ago, another wave of seeds germed around 16 days ago, another batch again germed maybe 12 days ago, and a last round of seeds hit the paper towls 6 days ago. By the time the grow room is completed, it will be a couple weeks from now, and the first batch of plants will have been vegging for over a month, from sprouts mind you. This i can see as a reasonable time to flower, and that wouldnt worry me.
What worrys me is that a portion of my plants could be no longer than 2 weeks old from sprouting when they first see 12/12.
Any thoughts what will happen to my plants? Keep in mind im using very diverese sources for 4 different batchs of bagseed, so genetic variation should supply indicas, sativas, and much diversity within the two. i hope to have 10 more plants bringing my total to just over 40. By the time these start flowering and sexing it would be getting growded in my grow space and id simply pull the males and keep the 20 best females, if there are 20 or more that is.
The key is, i need to be able to have this location clean of all bud and equipment by the end of august, no questions asked. And, it has to be in a form i can transport, eg, no moving of plants for aging, i need to be moving at least cut stalks, if not semi manicured bud.
