should all the cake be white

Hi should the bottom on the container on my myco tub be all white as its slowd right down its white all rpund sides but the bottom is sort of doing it laslty if it doesnt what can i do to help or can i try an fruit it as its my osyters 1st time trying

Yes, you can initiate fruiting. The myc will still continue to colonize after you initiate. Sometimes, after I initiate fruiting the mycelium keeps colonizing until it is ready to fruit. We have our idea of how the shrooms should grow and they have their own. Ultimately, they will do what they want, no matter what we do.
