Should i Be using Cal Mag Every water my Ro tests at 30ppm 500scale

Hello everyone out there ... So I'm working with LED Lighting 2x Electric Sky es300's I use fox farm ocean crest soil and 3 gallon grow bags I use Fox Farm Nutrients Big Bloom, GrowBig, Tiger Bloom, Open Sesame, BEasty Bloomz , Chaching, Gringo Rasta Cal-Mag, Bembe, Kangaroots, and fox farms Microbe Tea i use RO water that tests out to 20ish ppm on the 500 tds scale just to give you an idea of what I'm working with here so my question is when I'm watering my plants in early veg should i be adding calmag to every watering or should i only add cal-mag on the once weekly feeding .? Just seeing what yall have to say about this subject i feel like i should be bringing this water to 200 to 300 ppm daily

Calcium and magnesium are the most abundant minerals in tap water and will influence the water hardness. Soft water, usually found in the Western/Northern parts of the UK, generally has an EC of below 0.4 and doesn’t contain much calcium or magnesium. Using a CalMag supplement in soft water regions will increase the levels of each element which are then absorbed, and used by the plants.

I use a foliar form all thru veg and seem to get great absorption on Nitrogen

I use RO water only myself and add about 1/4 to 1/2 the max amount on the label of my CalMag bottle each watering. Never have seen low Ca or Mg problems so it must be working. The ProMix HP I use has lots of lime in it so may not be needed at all but a little won't hurt. With DWC and RO I initially give a full dose then little bits when I top up as I rarely if ever change nutes.

If using RO, yes. If using RO and LED, hell yes

So then now knowing that I use LED lighting and Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil and that my average ppm of my Ro water is 20ppm on the Tds 500scale what should my 30ppm water be brought up to prior to mixing my nutrients do these precise numbers exist I feel they must somewhere and do I need to be adding CalMag every single watering even when its not a fed watering .?

50 ppm either way doesn't really matter and with that soil you have it probably has lots of calcium in it anyways. I would use a bit of calmag to make sure you're covered but don't use the max it says on the bottle. It's not a magic bullet.

I was just reading over your list of goodies and see the word bloom in 3 of them. Some things I'm not even sure what they are but like to many cooks can spoil the broth so can too many ingredients.

A lot of supplements makes it more likely that a few will have the same stuff in them and you end up overdosing your plants on some things. I use the 3-part nutes with some silica and Big Bud for a bloom booster. A bit of calmag, epsom salts and a few added vitamins and minerals I use for myself.

With Fox Farms soil the plants don't need much more than water until they get pretty big and are ready to flower.

If you use LED they need Calcium every feed in flower

cal-mag+ and similar products are all snake oil.

Get calcium nitrate and magnesium sulfate as separate ingredients and use what you actually need.
