Should i be worried?

I live in a 4 bedroom student living apartment off campus and have been debating on growing. Im considering to using a DWC system in a 2x2.5x5'7" tent using a 300- 400 watt LED. The only problem is my apartment is newer (built last year) and most likely runs on a smart meter. I live in the "first in flight state" so its not legal to grow, smoke, etc. Should i be worried about the electric company or my apartment complex tracking my electricity usage 18/6 and 12/12?? And if i should be how can i beat the tracking meter I mean smart meter lol? Lastly would my electricity usage be noticably different than before? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Lmfao first look at your current electricity usage then factor in how much it would take to run your set up and you'll have your answer

Sounds like you would be creating a very stressful situation for yourself. Wait until you have your own place. Unless the reward is greater than the risk, dont do it.

theres gonna be a lot of odor when you go to flower, i had no filters and i could smell it in the yard outside my cabin....

your building hooks to other residents ? if yes they ( WILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL ) smell it and the they (WILLLLLLLLLLL) call the authorities and you (WILLLLLLLLLLLLLLL) get busted . but for the electric the electric company could give a shit less

Growing in your situation not the best idea like others have stated, but if you do it just make sure to pay your bill on time and you shouldn't have any issues with electric company.

first and foremost you're going to want to assess whether your room mates will be ok with it. Dont let any of them find out youre growing if you do proceed. overall id say its a tad bit risky though.

Growing in a building like that would be like growing in a evidence locker at the cop shop your smart meter is the least of your worries if your he'll bent on growing find a suitable spot out doors veg for 2-3 weeks indoor and get them far away from that place because your just asking to get busted
