Should I buy a hlg board or build a plc light

I see that hlg boards cost around 850 and green g lights cost about 800. I would like to know which one would be a better light

Which HLG light you comparing it to? PLC is a great kit... If I ever make the switch to LED they are a top contender. Problem with those lights are the parts are never in stock. Whenever theres new stock it gets sold out asap... I guess that tells you how popular they are. If your not too handy and want a company who backs there warranties HLG is a good options.

If you you buy the board heatsink combos from HLG and the other supplies from an electronics distributor, you can build quality lights for about $0.75 watt.
