curing would probably help, but honostly if that all you yielded there is really no point, just smoke it and read up, get educated, and do better next time
They were cut at 5 weeks into flower, the flowers are immature. You can smoke all the precursor cannabinoids you want, you won't get high. If the trichomes are clear there's no THC or CBD.
Why did you harvest the popcorn buds? Im sensing...wait, wait...Its coming to me...I can see it....Im sensing, im sensing...A first grow..with..wait...wait...waiiiiit...a bit of over-excitement!
Might as well cure em.. And you're partially right about directing energy and nutrients to the top but you should of cut off all that right before flowering so that you didn't stress the plant during the most important time. It'll be okay but it will hurt your yield.. live and learn. You'll do better next time bud.
I pinched a little off a bud and put it in 1 hitter and it tasted bad not really harsh but taste was garbage they smell pretty decent it sweet mango from ghs will taste get better after bout a week of dry and 10 day cure?
Yes, cure them. Go through the process and learn. Good Luck and Happy Growing. There's no grass/hay smell with proper drying and curing. I have no charcoal in my piece tonight, just grey ash. Patience can be just as challenging to a new grower as the whole process.
